Hard tech 2019 by Maker Village, a step towards making India a product development hub

Hard tech 2019, the national deep tech startup conclave organized by India’s largest electronic incubator-maker village was a significant step for complementing the industry’s effort towards making India a product development hub.Aruna Sundrarajan, Secretary DoPT, Govt of India Inaugurated the two day event at Integrated Startup complex, Kochi.

At the conclave, speakers across the globe discussed the ecosystem of hardware and manufacturing including skilled manpower, infrastructure and connectivity.

Leaders from global technology firms , senior government officials, entrepreneurs, fund managers and academicians from universities led the discussions. Belgium is looking forward to foster relations with India in the hardware sector. Consul General Mr. Mark Van De Vreken made it clear that their country is looking forward to the collaboration with the hardware startups in Kerala and India

Purchase order of advanced spray coater developed by the startup-Delgado was handed over by Defence production secretary  Dr.Ajaykumar . The event also witnessed the launch of  products by the startups incubated at Maker village

The  launch of  improved and upgraded robotic arm developed by sastra robotics, automated neera tapping machine developed by NAVA design and innovation have reflected the potential of  Kerala hardware startups.

Extensive subjects ranging from prototyping to industrial design to patent procurement were covered at the  two day event of Hardtech 19

Hardware product of curated startups, vendors, service providers, MSME’S were  showcased during the event. Startups pitched their ideas In front of the jury panel.
