British car manufacturer, MG Motors, enters the Indian market through their Hector SUVs. Hector, according to MG Motors, will be India’s first internet car. Hector is an Internet-connected SUV with segment-first features like 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment as iSMART system, an in-car Android-based tablet, with 4G connectivity and over-the-air updates. The iSMART system can also be used to toggle functions like emergency calls, vehicle status, remote control for the sunroof, tailgate, door lock, etc. MG has begun the production of Hector in Halol, Gujarat.
