Apple has launched new products for its followers. It has introduced the Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Watch SE, iPad 8th Gen and iPad Air 2020 in a virtual launch. The launch was held online due to the COVID. In the event, Apple CEO Tim Cook also hinted at the arrival of iPhone 12 later this year.
Of the new products, the most important one is Apple Watch Series 6, which can measure oxygen saturation in the blood. This is as good as a pulse oximeter. The S6 processor is 20 per cent faster than the previous model. Available in seven colours, the model is priced at Rs 40,900 in India.
The iPad Air (2020) will support the second-generation Apple pencil. It has a single rear camera and a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display. Another feature is the Touch ID fingerprint sensor on the power button. Compared to iPad Air 2019, the new model has 40% more CPU performance. Magic keyboard, USB-C and excellent camera performance are other attractions. The price of iPad Air (2020) starts at $ 599.
Apple Watch SE is a device that can connect multiple Apple products. It is an upgraded version of the Apple Watch Series 3. It uses the S5 chip. This is a model aimed at school students. It has automatic location notifications and school time mode. School time mode will avoid communication with the watch during school hours. For that, the Apple Watch Series 4 Cellular is required. It has not yet been launched in India. It also has Fall Detection, altimeter and swim-proof features. Launched in the US, the model is priced at $ 279.
Apple Fitness + has also been launched. Through this, users can play workout videos on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
