Google’s Project Soli is a gesture recognition technology based on Radar. Google’s Advance Technology and Project group for mobile technology is the brain behind this Idea. The Soli sensors using radar can detect moving object through high frequency radio waves. . The Soli sensors capture motion in the 3 Dimension space using Radar beam to enable touch less control function. The project is headed by Ivan Poupyrev. The Federal Communications Commission US granted permission to Google for operating Soli sensors at higher power levels than currently allowed. The FCC decision is on the view that it will serve the public interest by providing innovative device control feature using touch less hand gesture technology. Google aims for a future where human hand becomes an input device for interacting technology
