Crazy innovation is what India looking for, opines Angel investor Nagaraja Prakasam | channeliam.com

Nagaraja Prakasam is a full-time angel investor, invested in around 16 startups and is a versatile & passionate leader with decades of global experience. According to him there are three categories of startups. First one are those who are copycats, they look at others and copy the trending startups in US and China and copy them in India. Out of several copy cats there will be only one winner or none, most of the time the idea won’t match the psychology of the Indian customers. The second category is those who try to solve the real Indian problem which takes times and are visionary. Bangalore- based Carbon masters, an energy startup which converts wastes into energy, Chennai based Saahas, a simple waste management startup and Uniphore, the startup which got rejected 25 times from investors believed in speech recognition. These kinds of startups take time but they are visionary as they solve real problems. Third category is about the disruptive innovation. Only disruptive ideas can bring a change in the society. Younger’s should take the lead to bring disruption through innovation. Nagaraja Prakasam plays a vital role in promoting young innovators and looks forward for crazy ideas that can solve India’s problem
