Vaibhav Chhabra, a mechanical engineer by profession but a carpenter by passion is a graduate from Boston University. Vaibhav has spent two years of his career at EyeNetra, building eye diagnostic devices. He then moved to Mumbai and co-founded The Maker’s Asylum is a lot like a playground for artists, thinkers, and engineers.Makers Asylum provides a space to innovate ideas for the betterment of the society.

Maker’s Asylum fab labs operate in Mumbai, Jaipur and Delhi. A textile fab lab which operates in Jaipur is for the upliftment of women communities in rural areas.Vaibhav also conducts programmes for Differently-abled people. Makers Asylum forged French institute to start of its flagship programme STEAM, an interdisciplinary EdTech project.
