The secret of sales is thinking from the customers’ perspective, says sales trainer Subramanian Chandramouli. While talking to Channeliam.com founder Nisha Krishnan, he elaborated that startups need to meet the customers and understand their pain points so that they can come up with a product that could solve customers’ real problems. To master the sales strategy, one needs to develop the ability to think from the customers’ perspective.
Sales strategy is a long-term plan, he says. It is imperative to know your customers who will help you achieve your target. Who are those customers, where are they situated & how you can add value to them. The answer to all these questions is the strategy. It can be for a year or even 6 months, he concludes.
