Football Academy a startup dream for Vysakh
Even after losing one of his legs in an accident, Vysakh, a football maniac from Perambra of Calicut district, didn’t falter. Today, Vyshakh has overpowered his challenges and become the captain of Indian Amputee Football team. Vysakh now dreams of starting a training academy for the youngsters in Kerala. Apart from playing football for as long as possible, Vysakh also dreams to contribute something to soccer.
A lot of talents are getting wasted in rural areas due to the lack of proper mentoring. Vysakh aims to cater to the dreams of such talents through his football academy.
Football Academy, a startup
The main challenge faced by Vysakh was the lack of grounds to play football. Desolated school grounds are no longer available. Vysakh opines that this situation should change. When India’s amputee football team contested in an international match for the first time, Vysakh captained it. The match happened in Kenya. Currently, Vysakh dreams and aims of the 2022 amputee Football World Cup. He is aiming to start a Football Academy, a startup, in the very near future.
A mind shaped like a Football
In rural areas, it’s not people of expertise who provide coaching in clubs and grounds to the aspiring young soccer players. Because of it, there is a high chance that the students learn the wrong techniques of the game. In order to provide such training from the grass root levels, it requires proper license. Vysakh aims to acquire the license and proceed to start his academy.
