Amazon’s virtual voice assistant Alexa is strengthening their hold in the market with the help of new updates in the platform. By employing AI, emotional response technology and neural text to speech, Amazon is bringing a human touch to Alexa.
Voice command- the tech revolution
Alexa ‘India Skills’ Country Manager Dilip R.S. is of the opinion that voice-command-based technology is creating ripples in the world. He points out that voice-based tech startups have tremendous potential. He added that Voice Command will give users a different tech experience and that they want to see startup giants to come forward into voice technology segment.
Starting off at U.S
New updates in Alexa will be accessible to U.S based users in the beginning. Based on the command given, Alexa will respond accordingly to the user. For example, if you are asked to play a happy song, Alexa will play a song which is of happy mood.
Connecting students and startups
Alexa aims to enrich user experience. The platform has developed a new voice assistant based on customer feedback. Dilip says that Alexa is trying to bring together innovators, technology startups and students in the Voice Command segment and create a new experience for users.
