Google sets up COVID 19 fund. Fund to give paid sick leave to temporary staff and vendors in quarantine. It will also be used to create awareness in the team. Google has advised 100K employees in North America to work from home.
Google will monitor the situation and revise terms accordingly. Several Indian startups also have asked employees to work from home. Zoho was the first one to adopt it followed by Flipkart and BYJU’s. Flipkart issued guidelines to employees and suspended all business travels.
