Just like others, COVID-19 and the following lockdown have affected the work pattern of Channeliam.com, too. Our crew- including journalists, video editors, digital team, cameramen and the remaining staff- has turned to the work from home mode. Sitting at their homes, they created content under the guidance of journalists to distribute in English, Hindi and Malayalam, that too with good coordination. It is a new experience for all of us. Startup entrepreneurs and innovators, the target audience of Channeliam.com, are badly hit by the Corona pandemic. As an exclusive media platform in this sector, Channeliam.com has taken the responsibility to keep their morale high.
Within a few hours of lockdown declaration, we prepared an alternative to counter this unusual situation. We started a new segment- DISCOVER & RECOVER- to clear doubts of the entrepreneurial community regarding the future steps. The community heartily welcomed the series that features experts from the entrepreneurship-startup fraternity delivering tips to overcome the crisis.
Channeliam.com has also formed a helpdesk for startups and SMEs that got upset with the invasion of Corona. As media people, this was a socially responsible act for the Channeliam team members.
