Indian Army develops a remote-controlled trolley to deliver essentials. Developed by the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) of the Indian Army. It can deliver essentials to people from a distance of 100 ft. Minimises social interaction and thus the spread of the virus. The trolley is equipped with a washbasin and dustbin. It also has a storage that can be used in hospitals and isolation wards. The army has also developed innovative surgical masks, hand sanitiser, anti-aerosolization box & thermal scanner. The Defence Research and Development Organisation built a bio-suit for medical professionals. DRDO has also made portable sanitation equipment to sanitise roads and other surfaces.
