Vconsol is now the country’s official video conferencing app. This dream venture of Techgentsia Software Technologies incubated at Cherthala Pallipuram Infopark has now become the centre of attention of the whole country. Vconsol was developed under the supervision of Joy Sebastian, a Malayali. Vconsol achieved this feat by winning the Central Government’s Video Conferencing Challenge worth prize money of Rs 1 Cr. Techgentsia became the official video conferencing app of the nation by beating dominant players like Zoho and HCL. Startups and tech companies in India can emulate this success.
About 2,000 companies have participated in the challenge that was held as part of the Digital India initiative. Vconsol succeeded to win the complex selection process by presenting the best video conferencing technology in the country.
Vconsol will allow up to 80 people to attend live and 300 to view at a time. The app will support eight Indian languages including Malayalam. Vconsol is distinguished by its excellent communication features and technology
In the Challenge organised by the Electronics and IT Department, Techgentsia won a prize worth Rs 1 crore and a three-year contract with Central Government offices across the country. The challenge was held as part of Prime Minister’s Vocal for Local Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Techgetsia now focuses on the R&D of AI-enabled technology that facilitates the best video calling facility even during the lowest bandwidth.
