The project named Har Gaon Mein Optical Fibre will be implemented in 180 days
Estimated cost of the project stands around Rs 1,000 Crore
A joint venture of the Department of Telecom, Ministry of Electronics and IT and Common Service Centres (CSCs)
The project covers 45,945 villages in 8,386 grama panchayats in Bihar
CSC will provide one Wi-Fi and five fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) connections for one year, free of cost
