To support technology innovations that inspire the upliftment of women in the country, comes the She Power woman summit and hackathon. The program aims to find the best technology products and services related to women’s safety in the public and cyber spheres, women’s hygiene and reskilling and upskilling of women in the post-COVID world.
Startups or companies with women as founders or co-founders can apply. Individuals can also participate in the hackathon. Winners of the hackathon will receive a prize worth Rs 1 lakh along with the incubation and mentoring support. The summit and hackathon are being organized by Nisha Krishnan, prominent journalist and founder of Channeliam.com, in collaboration with the US State Department. Alumni TIES and World Learning are also part of the summit. Nisha Krishnan was conferred with the US State Department’s grant for participating in the International Visitor Leadership Program in Washington and the Alumni Thematic International Exchange Seminar (TIES) in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Virtual Hackathon is in collaboration with Kerala Startup Mission.
The She Power Summit will be held on December 16, 17, 18 and the Hackathon on December 20. Both are virtual programs. The summit will feature keynote sessions on cybersecurity, women’s security and post-COVID job opportunities for women. One can register for the event in advance.
