ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 launch delayed till 2022
India’s third mission to the moon was originally slated for launch in late 2020
Unlike its predecessor, Chandrayaan-3 will not have an orbiter
The orbiter launched during Chandrayaan-2 will be used for it
Chandrayaan-3 is critical for ISRO as it will demonstrate India’s capabilities for further interplanetary missions
Chandrayaan-2 was launched in July 2019
Earlier, Gaganyaan and other projects were delayed due to COVID-19
