Indian companies have raised Rs 31,265 Crore through IPOs this financial year
This is 50% more than the Rs 20,350 crore raised in the FY20
A total of 30 main-board Initial Public Offerings happened last year
The majority of IPOs happened in the last quarter with 23 firms raising Rs 18,302 crore
Some of the key IPOs include:
Indian Railway Finance Corporation- Rs 4,600-crore IPO
Warburg Pincus-backed Kalyan Jewellers- Rs 1,175 crore IPO
Home First Finance Co Ind Ltd- Rs 1,154 crore IPO
Craftsman Automation- Rs 824 crore IPO
Most of these IPOs were driven by liquidity in the market and bull run
