Gender Park’s ICGE 2 conference achieved carbon neutrality
ICGE 2 became Kerala’s first carbon-neutral event conducted on a state level
Gender Park ICGE 2 was held on February 11, 12 and13
ICGE 2 followed the carbon-neutral standards PS 2060 and ISO 14064
The event was organised in collaboration with the UN Women
Carbon Neutral was aided by the UN-Energy Services
Carbon neutral was assessed by Rina Services SPA, an independent agency
LED lights under a centralised system were used throughout the event
Eliminated the use of disposable plastics
Efforts were also made to minimise carbon emissions through transportation systems
CEO Dr P.T. Mohammad Suneesh said that reducing the use of diesel generators helped to achieve this
