A Slovakian flying car has successfully completed intercity flight
It flew 35 minutes between cities of Nitra and Bratislava on June 28
It was first-ever intercity flight between two airports
The flying car is named AirCar
It was made by Professor Stefan Kelin of Kelin Vision
AirCar has 160 HP engine with fixed propeller and ballistic parachute
It can fly at an altitude of 8,200 ft
AirCar is powered by a BMW engine
The flying car takes only 2 minutes and 15 seconds to turn into an airplane
AirCar cruised at a speed of 170 kph
This is 20 km/h less than the maximum speed
Aircar has made more than 40 hours of test flights and 142 successful landings
Kelin plans to build a 300HP pre-production model
It may receive CS-23 aircraft certification from aviation regulators
