Microsoft finalises strategic investment in OYO for an undisclosed amount
It would value the hospitality company around $9 billion
OYO is said to be looking at adding more marquee strategic investors ahead of its IPO
Microsoft will initially buy a small stake in OYO
But, it would include an option to raise ownership later
Oyo might use the funding to support its technology part and grab more market share
Now, Oyo is supported by SoftBank Vision Fund, Sequoia Capital, Lightspeed Ventures, Airbnb and Hero Enterprise
