Honda has launched an affordable new electric scooter named ‘U-Go’
It has been released through its Chinese arm Wuyang-Honda
Currently, it is available only for the Chinese market
The light-weight scooter designed for urban riding has two versions
The standard model will come with a 1.2 kW continuous-rated hub motor with a peak output of 1.8kW
The lower speed model has an 800 W continuous hub motor with a peak power of 1.2 kW
Both have a 48V and 30Ah removable lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1.44 kWh
They have an LCD screen giving information like speed, distance, charge and riding mode of the scooter
The e-scooter features a 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels
The price of the scooter is approximately Rs 85,000
The scooter is expected to hit other markets soon
