Mercedes had collaborated with designer Heron Preston for the venture
As part of it, airbags are being recycled into conceptual clothing
Preston had taken out three designs in concept form
The accurate details of the haute-couture are not yet available
Images on the internet say pants, coats and jackets are made from this
It is also reported that the clothing will inflate just like an airbag in case of an accident.
The concept is part of Mercedes-Benz’s 40-year celebration of introducing airbags in vehicles
