Ed tech startup Byju’s to focus on building in-house technology innovations

This will be done under its new initiative ‘Byju’s Lab’

It is headed by the company’s chief innovation and learning officer Dev Roy The initiative will be based out of the United Kingdom, US and India

The aim will be to bring a personalised and democratised approach into a student’s learning

For that, Byju’s Lab will hire AI and ML specialists

Some hires will be in psychometric, and other domains

The team will study how students absorb and consume content
