യുണൈറ്റഡ് അറബ് എമിറേറ്റ്സ്, പെട്രോളിയം കയറ്റുമതി രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ സംഘടനയായ ‘ഒപെക്കിൽ’ നിന്ന് അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി പിൻവാങ്ങുമ്പോൾ, അത് കേവലമൊരു വാർത്തയുടെ ലാഘവത്തോടെ കേൾക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ല.ഇറാൻ സംഘർഷാനന്തരം ലോകത്തിന്റെ എണ്ണവിപണിയെ, യുഎഇ-യുടെ ഈ നീക്കം പൂർണ്ണമായും മാറ്റിമറിച്ചേക്കാം. ഒപെക്കിൽ നിന്ന് യുഎഇ പിൻവാങ്ങുന്നതോടെ, വിപണിയിൽ പുതിയ രാജാക്കന്മാർ ജനിക്കുകയാണ്. വിഭവങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ട് സമ്പന്നമായ യുഎഇയും, ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ട് വിപുലമായ ഇന്ത്യയും ചേർന്നുള്ള പുതിയ ‘ഊർജ്ജ അച്ചുതണ്ട്’ ലോകക്രമത്തെ മാറ്റിമറിക്കും.
കഴിഞ്ഞ 10-12 വർഷത്തെ അസാധാരണമായ മാറ്റങ്ങളാണ് ഇന്ത്യ- യുഎഇ ബന്ധത്തിലുണ്ടായത്. 2015-ൽ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി യുഎഇ സന്ദർശിക്കുമ്പോൾ അത് 34 വർഷത്തിന് ശേഷം ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നടത്തുന്ന സന്ദർശനമായി. പിന്നെ കഴിഞ്ഞ 12 വർഷത്തിനിടയിൽ 8 തവണയാണ് മോദി യുഎഇ-യിൽ എത്തിയത്. ഓരോ സന്ദർശനത്തിലും പുതിയ പുതിയ കരാറുകൾ. 2013-14 കാലയളവിൽ ഇരുരാജ്യങ്ങൾക്കുമിടയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത് 59.5 ബില്യൺ ഡോളറിന്റെ വ്യാപാരമാണെങ്കിൽ, ഇന്ന് 100 ബില്യൺ ഡോളറായി മാറി. കേവലം 10 വർഷം കൊണ്ട് ഇരട്ടിയോളം വർദ്ധന. ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്കുള്ള ഫോറിൻ ഡയറക്റ്റ് ഇൻവെസ്റ്റ്മെന്റിൽ യുഎഇ ഇന്ന് നാലാം സ്ഥാനത്താണ്. അതുപോലെ എണ്ണ ഇറക്കുമതിക്കായി ഡോളറിന് പകരം ഇന്ത്യൻ രൂപ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഇടപാട് നടത്താൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചത് ലോക സാമ്പത്തിക രംഗത്ത് തന്നെ വിപ്ലവമായി.
ആർട്ടിഫിഷ്യൽ ഇന്റലിജൻസ്, Renewable Energy എന്നീ മേഖലകളിൽ യുഎഇ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ വൻതോതിൽ നിക്ഷേപം നടത്താൻ ഒരുങ്ങുകയാണ്. യുഎഇയെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം ഭക്ഷ്യ സുരക്ഷ വളരെ പ്രധാനമാണ്. നമ്മുടെ ഫുഡ് പാർക്കുകളിലും കൃഷി മേഖലയിലും 7 ബില്യൺ ഡോളറിന്റെ നിക്ഷേപമാണ് UAE നടത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഭൂഗർഭ എണ്ണ ശേഖരത്തിന്റെ പകുതിയോളം നിറയ്ക്കുന്നത് യുഎഇയുടെ എണ്ണ കമ്പനിയായ ADNOC ആണ്. യുഎഇയുടെ ഇൻവെസ്റ്റ്മെന്റ് സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളായ Mubadala, അബുദാബി ഇൻവെസ്റ്റ്മെന്റ് അഥോറിറ്റി എന്നിവ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഡിജിറ്റൽ സെക്ടറുകളിൽ വൻതോതിൽ നിക്ഷേപം നടത്തിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ അതിവേഗ വികസനത്തിൽ പങ്കാളികളാകാൻ ഹൈവേകൾ, തുറമുഖങ്ങൾ, ലോജിസ്റ്റിക്സ് എന്നീ മേഖലകളിൽ യുഎഇ കോടിക്കണക്കിന് രൂപ നിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നു.
നമ്മുടെ ISRO-യും യുഎഇയുടെ സ്പേസ് ഏജൻസിയും ചേർന്ന് സംയുക്ത സാറ്റലൈറ്റ് മിഷനുകൾക്കായി വലിയ കരാറുകളിലേക്ക് കടക്കുകയാണ്.
ഇന്ത്യ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്ന ബ്രഹ്മോസ് മിസൈലുകൾ വാങ്ങാൻ താല്പര്യം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ച ആദ്യ ഗൾഫ് രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് യുഎഇ.

ഇതുവരെ നമ്മൾ കണ്ടത് ഇന്ത്യക്കാർ യുഎഇയിൽ പോയി ആ രാജ്യം കെട്ടിപ്പടുക്കുന്നതിലെ വർക്ക്ഫോഴ്സ് ആയി മാറുന്നതാണ് എങ്കിൽ, ഇനി നമ്മൾ കാണാൻ പോകുന്നത് യുഎഇയുടെ മൂലധനവും സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയും ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യ ലോകശക്തിയായി മാറുന്നതാണ്. ഇത് കേവലം നിക്ഷേപമല്ല, മറിച്ച് രണ്ട് സംസ്കാരങ്ങളുടെയും ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളുടെയും ലയനമാണ്.

Through She Power, Nisha Krishnan created meaningful opportunities for women to access knowledge, mentorship, visibility, and entrepreneurial ecosystems at a time when women-led enterprises were navigating major social and economic challenges. The initiative reflected her larger vision of journalism – not merely as reporting but as a catalyst for empowerment, innovation, and inclusive growth.
