When India is gearing up for its election result with just single phase left, it is oblivious to hear news about VVPAT being found in hotels, homes or even on roads. These anomalies are not easily explained away or cannot be called isolated incidents. It also greatly reduces the credibility of the largest democratic elections in the world.
The Gurugram based startup Letstrack is helping to track Election Commission’s vehicles carrying EVMs across India during the Lok Sabha Poll 2019. India is a country with more than 10.3 lakh polling booths. Letstrack is an IoT based GPS tracking solution provider.
The bid is to maintain the credibility of Lok Sabha election 2019. Besides GPS tracking, vehicles can be remotely disabled if anything out of ordinary happens or if the driver takes an unscheduled route. Letstrack equipped vehicles cannot be hacked as these machines cannot be tampered using Bluetooth.
