Startup advisor of Prime Minister of Nepal and Managing Director of Kolkata Ventures Avelo Roy explained what exactly is meant by scale-up and said that, for startups that have validated their idea have come to a point where they fully know what they are doing and they realise that it’s time to grow either regionally, nationally or globally. At the point of scalability, everything changes including the infrastructure, people, technology and skills.
Lauding the Kerala Startups Mission’s work, Roy said that a lot of efforts are being put in from the government’s side to help startups grow.
If everything in life gets automated, people will be unhappy and sad. A person who looks happy on Instagram may not be happy in real life, says Avelo Roy. Human beings need to develop a good relationship in this physical world and see technology as an enabler. The automated cars and driver-less cars lead to less interaction between people, he added.
