UAE announces a fine up to AED 50, 000 for precautionary measures violators. The penalty would be double for repeat offenders. Third-time offenders will be referred to the federal public prosecution. UAE has strengthened sterilisation programmes in the past few days. Sterilisation happens on roads and public transportation systems. UAE residents are not allowed to leave homes except for food and medicine.
