Govt backed UPI receive massive boost in digital-transaction. Major internet firms like Ola, Uber, Amazon pay to issue their own UPI handles. Amazon recently began testing its UPI platform and has gone live recently. Users can now complete the transaction process by using their own unique UPI IDs. Ola, Uber started issuing their own UPI handles in partnership with Axis Bank. Total of 672.75 Mn UPI transactions have been recorded in January.
