Samsung India to deploy Samsung Finance+ services at home. Samsung Finance+ is a digital lending platform. It provides financial help to Galaxy brand customers in India. Lockdown: India’s industrial output shrank by an all-time low in March 2020. Index of industrial production contracted by 16.7% after lockdown. Govt. extends seeding of Aadhaar with ration cards till September 30, 2020. No genuine beneficiary/household shall be denied from the entitled quota of food grains. The Food Ministry has given instructions to all states & UTs on the same. Food grains under NFSA shall not be denied due to the failure of Aadhaar authentication. At present, nearly 90 per cent of 23.5 crore ration cards are linked with Aadhaar.

Indian Railways to resume passenger train service from this evening. IRCTC has issued new provisions for cancellation, booking, RAC and other policies in the special trains. The ticket can be booked using the IRCTC website or IRCTC app. The cancellation charges will be 50% of the fare. Passengers will be allowed to enter the railway station only with a valid and confirmed ticket. Passengers should reach the station at least 90 mins before to facilitate thermal screening at the station. The tickets won’t include catering charges and no one will be given bed sheets or blankets.
