ഡിസ്റപ്ഷന് വഴിയൊരുക്കുന്ന ഇന്നവേഷനുകള് മാത്രമല്ല, സൊസൈറ്റിക്ക് ബെനിഫിഷ്യല് ആയ രീതിയില് എംപ്ലോയ്മെന്റ് ജനറേഷനും സ്റ്റാര്ട്ടപ്പുകള് കേപ്പബിളാണെന്ന് കെഎസ്ഐഡിസി എംഡി ഡോ. എം ബീന ഐഎഎസ്. കെഎസ്ഐഡിസി സപ്പോര്ട്ട് നല്കുന്ന സ്റ്റാര്ട്ടപ്പ് സംരംഭങ്ങളെ ഉദാഹരണമായി ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിച്ചാണ് ഡോ. എം ബീനയുടെ വാക്കുകള്. ഫ്യൂച്ചര് ജോബ് കണ്സെപ്റ്റുകള് സ്റ്റാര്ട്ടപ്പുകളില് കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കുമ്പോള് എംപ്ലോയ്മെന്റ് ജനറേഷനില് സ്റ്റാര്ട്ടപ്പുകള്ക്ക് എത്രത്തോളം കോണ്ട്രിബ്യൂട്ട് ചെയ്യാനാകുമെന്ന സംശയം പലകോണുകളില് നിന്നും ഉയര്ന്നിരുന്നു. ഇതിനുളള വ്യക്തമായ ഉത്തരം കൂടിയാണ് ഡോ. എം ബീനയുടെ വാക്കുകള്.
രണ്ട് വര്ഷമായി മീഡിയം, ലാര്ജ് സ്കെയില് ഇന്ഡസ്ട്രികള്ക്ക് ഫിനാന്ഷ്യല് സപ്പോര്ട്ടായി 121 കോടി രൂപയാണ് കെഎസ്ഐഡിസി വിതരണം ചെയ്തത്. ഈ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളില് 450 തൊഴിലവസരങ്ങള് മാത്രമാണ് സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്. എന്നാല് സ്റ്റാര്ട്ടപ്പ് മേഖലയില് സീഡ് ഫണ്ട് അനുവദിച്ച 58 കമ്പനികളിലൂടെ 650 തൊഴിലവസരങ്ങളാണ് ഉണ്ടായതെന്ന് ഡോ. എം ബീന ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. 12 കോടി രൂപയാണ് സീഡ് ഫണ്ടായി കെഎസ്ഐഡിസി മുതല്മുടക്കിയത്.
ഏതൊരു സര്ക്കാരിനും മുന്നിലുളള ചലഞ്ചാണ് എംപ്ലോയ്മെന്റ് ജനറേഷന്. ആ പ്രോബ്ലം സോള്വ് ചെയ്യാനും സ്റ്റാര്ട്ടപ്പുകള്ക്ക് ശേഷിയുണ്ടെന്ന് ഈ കണക്കുകളിലൂടെ ഡോ. എം ബീന വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. സ്റ്റാര്ട്ടപ്പുകളെ കൂടുതല് പ്രമോട്ട് ചെയ്യാന് സര്ക്കാര് തയ്യാറാകുന്നതും ഇത്തരം കണക്കുകളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ്.

This come out on a context in which future job concepts are centered mainly on startup sector but a big question is raised from various corners on to what extend startups are beneficial in generating employment opportunities in the forth coming days.
Dr. Beena’s words are an authentic reply to the raised eye brows on focusing on startups for employment opportunities. For over last two years KSIDC distributed Rs121 crores as financial supports to the large scale and the medium scale industries while the employment opportunities created on these sectors are barely 450 only. On the other hand, 650 job opportunities have been created on 58 companies allocated by seed fund on startup sectors. Even as, Dr. Beena pointed out that only an amount of Rs 12 crore has allocated to the startup sectors by the seed fund.
