The innovations in the hardware sector in Kerala are recognized when Chennai US consulate delegates visited India’s largest Electronic incubator at Maker Village, Kochi. The outstanding start-up innovations on featuring the start-up legacy of the state, were showcased before the consul delegates. The US consul delegates comprising Mr.Robert Burgess, US Consul General and Jim Fluker, Principal Commercial Officer spent almost 2 hours in Kochi Maker Village, one of the excellent electronic incubator in the country. The delegates also interacted with start-up founders at Maker Village. India and the US are associated to work together in many sectors.
Opportunities are seen to be increasing for US companies to associate with Indian start-ups and technology innovations, Burgess pointed out. US consul expects co-operation to extend various sectors. US Consul General admired to see innovations and ideas in Maker Village addressing the social problems. Prasad Balakrishnan, CEO Maker Village said the visit of US consulate delegates will no doubt be a boost to the Kochi Maker Village which is trying to bring great changes on electronic production innovations.
