The startup weekend program organised by American seed accelerator Tech stars, Google for Entrepreneurs and Google for Entrepreneurs at B-Hub Trivandrum gave a unique experience to aspiring entrepreneurs.
Over 100 participants including developers, business professionals, startup founders’ Graphic designers & student and non students took part in the 54-hour startup marathon.
The event intended to brief about startup and entrepreneurship and provided help to beginners with Startup ideas, team formation, prototype presentation and expert- mentors support. 35 ideas were formed out of which the participants voted and selected 10 ideas from which 3 were selected for finalist.
Navsense, a wearable band which helps to navigate by touch sense bagged the first position. CrackIt, an Adaptive learning platform where students can prepare for competitive exams secured second position and EasyEMR , an electronic medical records system crafted by doctors for doctors came third. Ebin Ephrem Elavathingal, was the facilitator for the first edition of Startup Weekend held at B-Hub Trivandrum.
