The Atal New India Challenge, an initiative by Atal Innovation Mission, aims to support and create products/Solutions from existing technologies in areas of national importance and social relevance in India through grant-based mechanization. MSMEs, Startups, R&D organizations, Academicians, Innovators can apply for the Atal New India Challenge.
The Atal Innovation Mission works in collaboration with five ministries of the Government of India such as Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of road transport and Highways, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Ministry of Housing for the Atal New India Challenge.
Atal New India Challenge will help connect startups with the incubation and VC communities. More than 100 World Class Incubators are being launched in the country. Each incubator will support 25-30 startups in 2 years. The startups will get an opportunity to commercialize their product and evolve into a firm.
