Japanese Akatsuki Fund plans to invest in vernacular Indian startups. The Venture Capital firm has announced an India & US fund of $50 Mn in April. Vernacular video, mobile gaming & streaming will be the fund’s priorities. AET Fund has made 10 early stage investments in India since March. Since inception, the fund has made over 30 investments in India, Japan & US.
