Social media platforms WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram face outages across the globe. Users in the U.S, India, Europe, and Japan were most affected. In India, users couldn’t share or upload media files including audio clips and images. The Facebook server, which powers the other 3 servers, was down which caused the glitch. The issue has now been solved and the platforms said they are back at 100%. Social media platforms faced similar problems in March too.
