Samsung unveils the first-ever foldable phone in India. Galaxy Fold was initially set to be released in April this year. But due to the technical issues with its screen, Fold will be relaunched this September. Rather than falling into a certain category, Galaxy Fold instead defies some categories. As the name suggests, the device comes with a foldable screen.
The display is made of revolutionary and unique polymer material, which is layered for slim flexibility. Galaxy Fold has a 7.3 inch Dynamic AMOLED display. The device has the largest screen in the Galaxy smartphone series.
The device comes with an articulated spine which makes the folding process smooth and graceful. The folding movement is similar to that of a book. Movement is symmetrical and the fold gently locks in place.
Other than the folding feature, the device promises much more including fingerprint sensors at either side of the device, a 4380 mAh wireless and fast charging battery, 512 GB internal memory, six pro-grade cameras and protection caps at the top and bottom hinge areas.
Samsung Galaxy Fold is a futuristic design which helps the device to fit inside your pockets, or backpacks with ease.
The Fold phone that was released in April broke during early reviews forcing Samsung to cancel all pre-orders for the device.
