India welcomes its first Indian Institute of Skills (IIS) at Mumbai. IIS aims to impart skill training in AI, ML and Automation. Union Skill Development Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey laid the foundation stone for IIS. Tata Trust will invest Rs 300 crore in the private public partnership for IIS. IIS will cater to the needs of the new-age industrial economy.
