Walmart to use blockchain to track shrimp exports from Andhra to the US. The pilot project is the first known use of blockchain to track shrimp exports. It helps farmers strengthen the shrimp supply & customer trust in the product. The project is in collaboration with IBM’s Food Trust initiative. The company has launched a pilot with seafood processor Sandhya Aqua. Shrimp is India’s largest agricultural export with the US.
