MX Player to receive $110 Mn funding from Chinese tech conglomerate Tencent. Times Internet-owned MX Player is a video streaming OTT platform. This is the second investment by Tencent in a Times Internet property. Post funding, MX Player will be valued at $500 Mn. MX Player will compete with the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar and more.
