Kinfra, which was initiated 25 years ago to foster development of basic infrastructure for entrepreneurship, is venturing into more innovative projects. Kinfra has already provided basic infrastructure for entrepreneurs in its 3,300 acres of land that comes under the land bank. Kinfra has 24 business parks, including industry parks and segment-specific parks like food and defence parks, in the state. So far, Kinfra could initiate thousands of enterprises and thus generate more than 25,000 employment opportunities. Now, the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation works towards acquiring another 6000 acres in the next two years to develop business parks for industrial purposes. It also materialisies the crucial execution of Bangalore-Kochi industrial corridor in the state.

Kochi – Bengaluru Corridor to change the face of industrial sector

At a time when enterprises are thriving in the state, Kinfra is setting a suitable environment for them. Kinfra Managing Director Santhosh Koshi Thomas explains the journey of Kinfra so far. Kinfra is the nodal agency for the Kochi-Bengaluru Industrial corridor, which connects Palakkad, Thrissur and Kannur districts.
