Automobile makers halt production till the end of March. The decision comes after Covid-19 pandemic in India & will be revised based on govt guidelines. Maruti Suzuki, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Motors, Bajaj, Fiat & Mercedes-Benz India will halt production activities. Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest carmaker, will close production and office operations in Gurugram & Haryana. Indian auto industry to face an estimated revenue loss of Rs15k Cr. Pune, which is home India’s biggest auto hubs, records the highest no: of Covid-19 cases. Mahindra Group is working on manufacturing ventilators at its units.
