Income Tax dept to refund Rs 733 Cr to Vodafone Idea. The telecom operator had sought the amount as part of a tax dispute. Vodafone-Idea is yet to pay Rs 51,000 Cr of AGR dues to govt. The company’s contested total refund worth Rs 4,759 will help clear a part of its statutory dues. The Supreme Court has directed the IT department to refund the amount within 4 weeks.
