Corona: U.S healthcare major Abbot to roll out lab-based antibody test in India. The firm had received CE mark for its lab-based serology blood test. The antibody test can detect if a person has been previously infected. This would help in understanding the lifespan of antibodies in a body. This would, in turn, help in the development of treatment and vaccines.
