RBI releases framework for retail payments system
Aims to set up an umbrella entities for operating pan-India retail payments systems
Companies with a net worth of over Rs 500 Cr are eligible to set up an umbrella entity
They can operate the new systems in retail spaces like ATMs, White Label PoS and more
Deadline to submit applications is till February 26, 2021
