ByteDance to launch legal action against Donald Trump’s executive order to ban TikTok
Trump signed the order on Aug 6 preventing TikTok & WeChat from operating in the US
As per the order, ByteDance’s TikTok will be prohibited from mid-September
ByteDance is in talks with potential acquirers like Microsoft and Oracle for U.S biz buyout
TikTok has more than 100 million users and 1,500 employees in the U.S
