YouTuber Ryan Kaji, familiar to both children and adults, is a star on social media. Texas-based Ryan has been selected as the world’s highest-paid YouTube star in 2020 by the Forbes Magazine. By unboxing and reviewing toys and games on his YouTube channel ‘Ryan’s World’, he garnered about $30 million in 2020.
Ryan, who has 2.77 million subscribers, so far posted more than 1,800 videos on Toys Review, Unboxing and Science Experiment. And, earned $29.5 million from his YouTube channel. Not only that, but he also raised $200 million through branding and promotion of branded toys and clothing, which includes Marks & Spencer pyjamas. According to ‘The Guardian’, Ryan has also signed an undisclosed multi-million dollar deal for a TV series in Nickelodeon. In March 2015, four-year-old Ryan began making YouTube videos inspired by toy review channels.
The YouTube channel was originally known as ‘Ryan ToysReview’. Currently, There are nine YouTube channels from Ryan’s family. The popularity on YouTube inspired to change the original family name ‘Guan’ to its on-screen name ‘Kazi’. It is his presentation style that makes Ryan a favourite among children and adults. In 2018, Ryan earned $22 million through his YouTube channel and in 2019, $26 million. Many of Ryan’s videos have over one billion viewers.
