India and France sign an agreement for cooperation on the Gaganyaan mission

The agreement will enable Indian flight physicians to train at French facilities

Indian astronauts of the mission can avail French space agency CNES’ equipment

CNES will also supply fireproof carry bags to shield equipment from shocks and radiation

The agreement was announced during French Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian’s visit to ISRO

ISRO has asked CNES to serve as its single European contact in this domain

Currently, the Gaganyaan mission is delayed due to COVID-19 restrictions
