Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin protests NASA’s awarding of moon lander contract to SpaceX

Elon Musk’s SpaceX won a $2.9 Billion moon lander contract from NASA on April 16

Blue Origin filed a protest with the federal Government Accountability Office on the same

It accused NASA of moving the goalposts for contract bidders at the last minute

The moon lander project aims to put humans back on the moon for the first time since 1972

As per the contract, SpaceX will build a spaceship to deliver astronauts to the moon as early as 2024

SpaceX was chosen over Blue Origin and defence contractor Dynetics Inc

Bezos and Musk were in head-to-head competition for this
