Indian brand bags silver at International Chocolate awards

The brand Paul and Mike entered the finals of the International Chocolate Awards

It is the first Indian chocolate brand to win silver at the International Chocolate Awards

Paul and Mike chocolate enterprise is backed by Synthite

Its ’64 Percent Dark Sichuan Pepper and Orange Peel Vegan Chocolate’ brought the laurel

The company released the award-winning chocolate in May 2019

This vegan chocolate costs Rs 250 per bar

The company had won a bronze medal in the Asia-Pacific final

From cocoa cultivation to chocolate making, the company directly handles them all

Cocoa is grown on Paul and Mike farms in Kochi and Coimbatore

It is also procured from farmers in Kerala and Andhra Pradesh

Flavours include ‘Jamaican Rum’, ‘Dark Pepper’, ‘Sichuan Pepper‌’ and ‘Orange Peel Chocolate’

Also available in ‘Indian Style Thandai’, ‘Peppermint Gelato’, ‘Custard Apple’, ‘Java Plum’ and ‘Alphonso Mango’

The three-year-old company sells 36 types of chocolates

Planning to widen the consumer base with 100 varieties this year
