The data is based on the content caught by their algorithms
The clean-up process was in tune with India’s new IT rules
Removed posts ranging from spam to adult nudity, bullying and violence
Spam became the biggest category with 2.5 cr posts
The second-highest was violent and graphic content with 25 lakh posts
The companies will release a detailed report later this month
